Jordi Nin holds a PhD in Computer Science since 2008 from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). He is a tenure-track lecturer at the Computer Architecture Department (AC) of the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC-BarcelonaTECH) and an associate researcher in the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS). He is conducting research about big data technologies and analytics. Since 2013 he is involved in several research collaboration projects with CA Labs, focused on the development of crowdsourcing platforms and big data analytics and visualization.
